It's a small world after all.....

a great coincidence......there is a restaurant about half a mile from my RV Park that is owned and operated by Lorraine and Mitch.  Well, Lorraine used to babysit my son, Kasha.  She is from the Derby-Newport area.  We never kept in touch (I think I only used her daycare for a year or two some 30 years ago), but we have a mutual Vermont friend, Donna Laurin, who freaked out that we were so close and told us both.  So today I went and had lunch there.  She greeted me with a hug and we had a fine ole chat.  The restauant is called Neon Leons and has a Mardi Gras theme, with Zydico music three times a week.  She married the nephew of the bass player in the Leonard Skynard band.  There is no smoking, good food (I had fried green tomotoes that were to die for) and the band plays like from 5-8, not late at all.  I think I will go check out the music next Wednesday (I am sure it will be a zoo this weekend).
