I am in Florida
Fernandina Beach Florida. And it is HOT. What have I gotten myself into??? I have to run my a/c day and night. There is no parking in a Walmart as I have to have electricity. Different concept. But then today I rode my bike and went swimming in the ocean and felt better. It is really beautiful here. More people at the campground, but I still have stayed two night without a reservation and they said just to come down to the office each day and they will find me a spot. Only 4-5 people on the beach though, isn't that weird? I can ride my bike on the beach, but have to leave Sophie in the camper. Lots of rules at a State Park. I can only ride on the paved roads as helmets are required on the dirt paths. My campsite is in the wooded area, huge live oak trees hanging with moss, entering the park you drive about 3 miles through a tunnel (or under a canapy), something about that is very sureal.

Everything is so gorgeous!!!!! It looks like home to me! Jut wait till you get to the Keys! I hope it is as unspoiled where you are going as it was when I was down there romping around! Looks like Sophie loves it too! Have fun and don't over do in the heat!
