A Visit from Kay Rutherford

Andy & I met Kay about a month ago when we were biking at Goose Island, a local State Park. It was right before the Inauguration and I was intent on finding a place to watch. Anyway, I saw a lady and her dog getting in this pickup truck with an Obama bumper sticker so I stopped her and asked her if she was local, but, no, she was from MN. We visited and found we had many things in common. She was on a vacation from her counseling career, going around to as many TX state parks as she could in a two month period. We made plans to meet up on Jan 20th at the Rockport Chili's (you can read about that day on an earlier blog entry). She returned for more Chris & Andy Time! This time staying with us for 4 days on our campsite, three women, four vehicles and four dogs. We went to the movies, went yard sailing and out to eat....so nice!!
