Antiquing in Texas

Well I spent yesterday going around to a few of the shops in this area that sell antiques. Oh, and one flea market. Slim pickings compared to Vermont!! But I did pick up a few things for resale. Best find was at the flea market....parts of a once beautiful Art Deco ceiling light that I paid $3 for! Then at a shop in Aransas Pass a headlight for a Model A Ford for $8, they were having a 50% off sale. No idea what that might sell for, but it was interesting and in good condition. And a very interesting hand made cookbook with typed recipes added by the owner, looks to be from the 30's or 40's, no idea if it has any value, just bought it because it was one of a kind. Fun day!

Andy called last night and was in San Antonio, so she should be arriving at any moment....YIPEE!!!!

the model A headlight should be easy to sell,... my guess is you can double your money at minimum. probably do a LOT better if in good condition. good luck!
